COMMUNICATION & FACILITATION
Organizations hoping for success in the renewable energy and environment space must build strong communicative relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Diane Cherry Consulting helps clients develop smart, multi-faceted programs that are key to effective communication. We facilitate stakeholder dialogue in environmental, renewable energy, and energy efficiency topics and distill complex subjects t0 appeal to multiple audiences across different platforms. Our project work has included regular content creation for blogs, newsletters, and websites; creating and placing releases and columns with local and national news outlets; designing and maintaining websites for clean energy business organizations; and more.

Regular contributor of clean energy and environmental content for N.C. Sierra Club, the N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center, Leyline Renewable Capital, Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy, and the Carolinas Clean Energy Business Association including monthly newsletters that have several thousand subscribers each

Write timely energy articles for the Fayetteville Business Journal as it relates to North Carolina military bases

Articles have ranged from energy storage business models, to solar decommissioning standards, to the impact of wood pellets in the Southeast
Past Projects:

Managed Carolina Utility Customers Association digital communications on a range of energy policy matters and launched their new website

Designed and developed the Carolinas Clean Energy Business Association's website

Developed agenda, materials and facilitated convening of N.C. State University data researchers and stakeholders on improving methods of agricultural and environmental modeling

Planned/facilitated day-long retreat with environmental advocacy groups on policy options for coastal resilience. Policy options featured in the North Carolina Climate Risk Assessment and Resilience Plan
